Every year Tango Alegre | De Koffiefabriek organizes tango holidays for dancers.
This year, we propose a tango week from 21-28/MEI 2026: Val Sinestra tango vacation. A unique opportunity to join us in Switserland, in a beautiful Art Deco hotel, used to be a kür-ort, where we take our tango. ATTENTION: you have to subscribe before 15/FEB and mail to: vakanties@tangoalegre.be if you want to join.
This summer we have our usual tango holiday from 18-25/JUL 2026: France tango-tango week. A new old renovated castle with beautiful gardens awaits us in Saivres (between Poitiers en Niort).
We have at least 2 (tango) workshops each day. Our focus lies on exploring and musicality, on a more expressive tango, on moving and playfulness.
Astrid Maria Cerpentier & Bennie Bartels are teaching the tango dance and expression classes in their own unique, contemporary, "it's about more than tango"-style. With tango steps as the excuse, they dive into a whole new (daily) movement world (see also their Neo/Projects).

Our summer residence this year is Château de Saugé (near Saivres, FR), where we shall dance on the terrace with a magnificent view over the gardens.
Twice a day Astrid Maria Cerpentier & Bennie Bartels are teaching tango workshops. In the evening we have tango nights, preferably outside under the stars. Delicious lunches & dinners are prepared for you by our special équipe de cuisine, Marina & Eline & guests!
9 bedrooms, all with sanitair ensuite, a recently renovated castle, everything tip-top! Have a look at their rooms on their website!
Wonderful gardens all around in levels, a pond at the border, a lot of open space, also to camp. There's a covered outdoor barn for events, an indoor conference room, terraces - in short, a gem in France where we'll have our tango holiday this year!
